Overhead sneaker art installations #3 & #4
Both of these were spotted in Ocean Beach. The paintbrush installation is very close to Poma's restaurant, whose extravagant sandwich was featured here recently. I have no clue who OACREW is...

This is one of those things that make me think... Now why didn't it occur to me to throw sneakers over the wires as art? That's pretty cool!

Legend has it...and legend could be wrong...that sneaks thrown on wires means there's drugs to be had nearby.
That's just what I'd heard from back in high school. But seriously, high school stories are often greatly exagerated!
I always heard that sneakers on utility lines meant someone died at that intersection.
