Across Mission Bay

With several paved paths, Mission Bay is probably one of the best areas to take a stroll, walk, or jog. The Model Boat Pond is located on a small island in Mission Bay called Vacation Isle. When I was growing up the area was called Vacation Village. The island includes the pond, a resort called Paradise Point, and a park area with picnic tables, bbqs, and fire rings.
