Agua
Happy Earth Day! At Mamá Testa Taqueria this pretty drinking fountain makes the water taste better, just kidding. I don't ususally drink the tap water here because I don't like the taste, but I also feel guilty for buying plastic bottles/containers. Do you drink tap water or buy water?

Yes, I drink the local water; have been since 1960 with no ill effects.
Most bottled water is drawn from some municipal source, flavor filtered and resold at high expense. Then what to do with the bottle ? Only aluminum is truly recycled; a small percent of the water bottle material is used for outdoor carpet; 39 million bottles each year go to landfill [USA}.
But I do like to have some around for long walks etc. and I like carbonated water too.

Tap water, DEFINITELY. Trendy designer water is ridiculous.
Okay, thanks, you guys have sufficiently added to my guilt. It is time for me to get a water filter installed on the tap or at the least a Brita pitcher!
I had water filtration installed in the house a few years ago and IT'S SO WORTH IT! I *love* it. That's the way to go, IMO!
All the time traveling in Turkey, Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, Korea, Mexico and more, I eat whatever looks good and whatever is offered to me. I'll drink what's given to me in a restaurant, tea, water, whatever, but I always buy bottled water. I've had very few stomach problems, but now I'm freaking because of what the plastic bottles are doing to me and the environment. Sigh.
How beautiful even if the water isn't so good.
