Camp Kearny

Among the plants in Grandma Mary's yard is this old sign showing distances to various points from San Diego. Camp Kearny was a training center for the Army that was established around 1917 and was also known as Kearny Mesa. Today it is known as the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Miramar.
