Whose water tower is it anyway?
The photo above is of the landmark water tower between El Cajon Boulevard and Howard Avenue on Idaho Street. I have always thought of it as the North Park Water Tower, but it seems it is also called the University Heights Water Tower. What's your vote, NP or UH?
That's the one you walk past if you use the Chicken Pie Shop parking lot, right? I think of it as the hookers' water tower because I often see ladies with bedroom eyes and short skirts around there.
Hi Steffe, yes that does look like a UFO! Ifics, yeah, but the NP Rec Ctr is right across the street. Expat, yes, that's the area. This will probably lead to more comments, but I leave it to you to put the sex in "water tower". :)

Very different from the water towers where I live. There's one that looks like a UFO when you come around a corner!
I would go with University Heights Water Tower, as I don't think of El Cajon Blvd as North Park. I always just thought of it as that tower.

North Park water tower. (And I lived in UH for five years-- never heard any of my neighbors call it the University Heights water tower.)
Isn't El Cajon Blvd the boundary between the two neighborhoods? North of the Blvd is UH, South of the Blvd is NP.
Clearly, it's the Chicken Pie Shop Water Tower.
