The Old Mill

This restaurant in North Park was The Old Mill then changed to The Lumberjack, now it's back to The Old Mill again. I never went when it was The Lumberjack, but I hear that the food has not changed much through all the transitions. The food is basic American diner food. What I remember is the biscuits and gravy, onion rings, and old style red, amber or frosted clear plastic drinking cups.

Very little change, surprisingly. Always a go-to when I return to SD. Great pancakes, Reubens, mmmmmmmm . . . my mouth is watering. These types of places are a dying breed . . .

People need a little stability :-). Why would anyone in SD name a business The Lumberjack. . .I guess they were emphasizing the pancake breakfasts? Old Mill sounds like a place that knows what a Salisbury Steak might be. Since my mom passed, I never go to these kinds of restaurants unless we are on the road and that's all there is.
