The coast highway

I took a little detour off of the Interstate 5 freeway and went along the coast Highway 101. Driving along the 101 you get lots of quick glimpeses of the beaches as the highway hugs the coastline, then goes a few blocks in land, then back to the coastline. Here is the view of the beach and the 101 as you head west from the 5 on La Costa Avenue between Carlsbad and Leucadia.
