First Avenue menagerie
There is a small herd of metal animal sculptures scattered across three or more front yards on First Avenue in Hillcrest. Giraffes, horses, elephants, a turtle, a lion, and a tiger peek out from behind tropical foliage. They reminded me a little bit of these huge metal sculptures we saw on our way to Anza Borrego.

Never did understand why people would do something like this, but to each his own, I guess! ;)
