Theme day - yellow
Last week I posted photos of some of the wildflowers we saw at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. But we really don't have to go far, we can just drive down the freeway and see spots of color: yellow, orange, purple, fuchsia, and red. The above photo is from a short hike I took in Sycamore Canyon Preserve/Goodan Ranch which I'll post more photos of this weekend. Follow the yellow brick road to view thumbnails for all participants.

Such a beautiful scene with the sea of yellow here and those various trees, hills, blue sky. Idyllic.

Aw, that looks like such a nice place to hike or just go sit and meditate. Of course, you could also take photos!

Isn't SoCal spring wonderful! Even the fwys look pretty. Very lovely photo & just perfect for TD.
Very nice choice for the theme day! We've got plenty of red wildflowers in Mississippi right now, but no yellow ones like these.
