Mariscos

I liked this mural for the restaurant Mariscos El Titanic Seafood in City Heights. I lived in Massachusetts for some years when I was a kid and I remembered Fridays being fish days. I also remember most stores being closed on Sundays, but I did not realize the significance until I got older. Here is one of my favorite mouth watering seafood recipes for ahi tuna. Anyone have a great seafood recipe they'd like to share?

Yes, as a matter of fact, and it's also ahi. We had this first at the Abingdon in Earl's Court in London. I asked about the sauce and was given the old run-around, but I later figured it out.

Start with a bed of brown lentils. Add a layer of arugula. Top with the freshly-seared ahi. Pour over a sauce made from roughly equal parts soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, raspberry vinegar.

Another knock-out recipe, when you can find monkfish, is "bourride de baudroie"
