Lovin' it

This window display made me smile. I interpreted it that someone loves my look, but I guess you can also think of it like, "you should love your look, so get in here and buy some of our clothes!"

Have you noticed how 5th Ave between Robinson and University has become THE place to go for secondhand clothes? It started with 'Wear It Again, Sam' and then at least 3 other copycats moved in. The owner of WIAS is a vague acquaintance and I once asked her if she was miffed by the imitators. "Not really," she said. "If this area gets a reputation as the go-to place for recyc clothes, it's good for business all roud."

I think this window in the photo is for new clothing, but definitely in the Hillcrest neighborhood. And yes, there are quite a few used clothing stores in the area - it's a good business - they get stuff on the cheap or free and sell it to make a nice profit. I'm just worried about seeing more empty windows in the neighborhood.
