Laissez les bons temps rouler

We went to Little Italy's Carnevale over the weekend. It was fun to see lots of people in Mardi Gras masks. And of course, collecting piles of beads is the other half of the fun. The above photo is of our lovely hostess at Mimmo's restaurant and below is a photo inside the restaurant. If you are looking for something to do tonight there are two big events in the city - one in the Gaslamp and another in Hillcrest. Or stay at home and make your own masks! We made some on Sunday using these templates with instructions or you could print out pre-made ones here.
