Walking trails and a view!
The land where the Chula Vista Nature Center is today was once occupied by a kelp processing plant, a cottonseed oil company, farmland, and was a film location for the movie "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes". In the above photo you can see concrete remnants from the kelp processing plant in the foreground and in the background you can see the Coronado Bay Bridge and downtown San Diego.

Lots of open space down in that part of the bay.
