Antler & horn collection

I learn something new every time I visit the San Diego Zoo. Currently they are in the process of constructing a new exhibit called the Elephant Odyssey and because of the construction, the bus tour takes a detour through the Zoo's garage and passes by this wall of antlers and horns. The sign says, "Antlers are shed each year. Horns last a lifetime."
