SoCal cafe culture
Cafe 976 is in a renovated house with a deck and garden patio in Pacific Beach. And good thing they have a sign out front because otherwise you might think you are just wandering into someone's front yard. So homey.

OMG! I love that place! I used to frequent there when Paris took swim lessons at Murray Callan out there. It's so homey you can go there with a spazzy toddler and find an out-of-the-way table to sit at where said toddler doesn't bother everyone. :) Excellent.
