Mission Hills sign
I can't even remember what this little mini-mall on Washington Street looked like before but it was recently renovated - and it looks nice now. They kept and reintegrated the metal sign that says "Mission Hills" which denotes this neighborhood.P.S.: I took this photo last week - today it is raining cats and dogs!

I remember its previous facade very well, since I pass it most days (and in fact lived right there on Hawk St many years ago -- in those days there was a branch US Post Office embedded in a drugstore there).
We had Sunday brunch at Olivettos 2 weeks ago, it was very good.
The original Ace Drug Store was at the N.E. corner of Goldfinch and Washington Streets. I totally forgot about the post office. I remember the ladies who worked there. Not so nice. A lot has changed in MH since 1972!
