Cool globes - theme day
Yesterday was the last day of the "Cool Globes" exhibit in Balboa Park. There were 35 larger-than-life globes each one with a message about how to reduce global warming.
This "trashy" one above was my favorite. The project was first displayed in Chicago and has gone to Washington DC and San Francisco. Next year they will visit Los Angeles and London. See more cool globes, spheres and circles from the Daily Photo group - Click here to view thumbnails for all participants.

Well, this exhibit was made to order for you! I, too, like the trash one, but the baseball globe is also interesting.
That should open a few eyes I hope. Perfect choice for theme day.

So how can an autographed baseball reduce global warming? ;D
The exhibit looks and sounds great. I like it when art is used for important causes. Happy theme day!

I'm also wondering how a baseball reduces global warming - but a very cool choice for today's theme!
Cool globes - let's play ball! I like the shoe prints one too. Excellent theme day.
I like the baseball one.
Well how nice they put this exhibition on so you could get photos for this Theme Day! And how fab they are. Like you I love the trashy one. What fun they all are.
Seems the baseball is solar-powered. I guess that's a clue.
Awesome globes Felicia. I think that trashy one is pretty cool too! Happy Theme Day :)
Great shot! Wish I had seen that exhibit when it was in DC. Happy Theme Day!
The trashy one is my favourite too. It really gets the message out there
those are cool. I wish they'd be out there longer so that I could see them.
