Limit setters

These high rise condos in Coronado caused a stir when they were built in the 1970s and within a short time from the ground breaking voters set a 40 foot height limit on new buildings. The condos are called Coronado Shores and consist of ten ocean front 15 story buildings. Click here to read about its history, pricing, and some of the famous owners.

That's a great angle Felicia. The 70s were an odd time for developers. Rules were changed in Vancouver too but not before a few solid walls of concrete apartments were erected.
The theory seemed to be, if I can afford to live on the beach too bad for everyone behind me.
