SDSU crossing

School starts today at San Diego State University. This pedestrian bridge is about 5 years old now, but boy has it gotten a lot of foot traffic! It is a direct connection from parking areas and residence halls to the campus. Here is another photo from a different angle.

It seems we are seeing more foot bridges built in cities around the world. That's a good thing and like this one they generally seem to strive for elegance.

Cool photo! Is this path lit at night? That would make a fun picture. It's nice to see pedestrian-friendly bridges like this.

I remember "hiking" up the zillion stairs from the parking lots years ago when I attended SDS...before the University was added.
