Burlingame house #2

As the house in yesterday's photo was being completed, the one above was being built. One of the distinctive features of the neighborhood when it was laid was, and still is, its red (some say pink) sidewalks. I'm surprised by the varied architectural styles. This place looks big enough to be made into at least two apartments. Are they all maintained as single family homes?

Thanks Istanbul DP and Wayne. Wayne, the building of this tract was seen as a "showcase of diverse architectural fantasies" (I'm quoting the article that I read and linked to), and it is a beautiful and interesting neighborhood. The red Norris House I posted a photo of on 9/7/08 was constructed as a 10-room house w/full basement and sold for approx $8000 in 1912! Back then and today it is an upper class neighborhood full of single family homes.
