It does indeed. Imagine how much more cheery our cities would be if all these massive blank walls were painted by artists or even kids with some guidance from an artist.
It seems to me this would be a reasonably inexpensive beautification project with considerable upside benefits.
these are great. much better than a big blank wall. just discovered them and took a photo myself a week or two ago!
Philadelphia PA is a city of murals. Many of them are just wonderful -- telling the history of the area, or just making the area more pleasant.
so pretty! Simple, yet brightens up the otherwise boring walls.
