Cow parade

Thanks to Expat for the photos and story. From January to March next year, 200 life-size fiberglass cows will appear on San Diego's streets, malls and byways. Don't say we didn't warn you.

But they'll be PRETTY, thanks to artists like Chris Keller, seen here working on her artcow. Cow Parade Artists Lab (in Liberty Station, handily close to Wine Steals) offered a sneak preview last Saturday, and we took the digicam along.

San Diego is the latest city to be cow-decorated. We're following in the cowsteps of Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Bucharest, Florence, London, Rio, Stockholm....

That is so great! I think this is the weirdest-but-so-cool trend in citywide art shows.

Great shots!

I saw some wonderful cow paraders in Paris a few years back. It's so delightful to stumble across them.

Was Felix the Cat Australian? Find out at Sydney Daily Photo!

I am a big fan of Cow Parades and I hope to have the opportunity to visit San Diego's. Keep up your great work. Maybe I'll get to see your cow!
