Whaling Wall #94

We are pretty lucky to have more than just one Whaling Wall by Wyland in San Diego. This one called "Ride the Tide" is on the Del Mar Fairgrounds and is #94 of 100. The artist only has a few more to finish to complete his goal of 100 murals. Click here to see #64 which is also located in San Diego.

I'm not a big fan of Wyland as an artist or as a person (did you see his recent dust-up with the Coastal Commission about the whale tail license plate?). I do enjoy murals though....

cette peinture murale est impressionnante, autant que la baleine, superbe.

Thanks for stopping by everyone. Brent, I just read about the license plate issue. He does seem greedy, but he does draw a nice whale tail. :)
