Fun in the sun

I used to think that people only wore sunglasses to look cool, but they are an essential accessory in a city with year round sun. When I first moved back to San Diego five years ago, the first thing I did was buy 3 pairs sunglasses - one for everyday wear, one pair for leaving in the car, and another pair as emergency back up. All 3 pairs have since been broken or lost and replaced. How many pairs of sunglasses do you have?

I have not visited your blog before I saw it on the portal this morning. I like what your eye sees. I like this image of the harsh sun on a beach. I love the image of the yellow house! I really appreciate the way you present your text.

Thank you for blogging.

This is a stunning photo made so dramatic by the use of sepia t. Just lovely. I use sepia often, but would never have thought to use it on a beach scene.

Sunglasses ? In Birmingham I never leave home without them. Like you have several pair, but expensive ones, lose 'em too fast.

I'm with Virginia the use of sepia on this kind of scene is so unusual, but works brilliantly. One pair os sunglasses, just for holidays. If we have sun it's a minor miracle.

I am back today because I just had to have one more look at your beach scene. just love it. BTW, I meant inexpensive sunglasses on my last comment. I am far too forgetful for designer ones.
