Stone castle

And now for something completely different... A few weeks ago I mentioned an article that surveyed cobblestone use in San Diego. Along with walls, piers, pillars, and chimneys the article mentioned a cobblestone house and I think I found it here on Adams Avenue.

There used to be a house somewhere near Juniper and Commonwealth or near that neighborhood that was built almost entirely of doors, the old wooden panel doors, applied to the outside, cut away for windows etc. I saw it in the seventies, but couldn't find it later in th nineties. Maybe some one rationalized it.

Maybe some one has an old photo of it ?

Thanks to all for stopping by! Richard, that "door" house sounds very interesting. Alex, aww, sorry! Two! I didn't know about the one near Texas, I'll stay away from that one, consider it yours to photograph! :) This one is on Adams near the 15 freeway.
