Today is my birthday and I thought this photo I took at City Farmers Nursery was apropos. Caw, caw! The crow is not real, but a plastic replica on a stick to scare off the real birds.

This works for a while, but the birds figure these things out; like the plastic owls and snakes at the yacht harbor, eventually the pigeons and gulls come back.
