Dolphins at UTC
Nope, it's not Sea World, it is one of our local malls. There are several small "pools" where dolphin statues "swim" at the University Towne Centre mall. A big makeover is proposed for the mall which opened in 1977. The makeover includes several "green" ideas including rooftop solar panels. I wonder if these dolphins will be relocated?
Felicia, I was about to compliment you on your great action photography! :-) This is a fun sculpture. Those 70s era malls have all been redone or need to be. This doesn't look like most, though, and looks rather nice, actually. I like those scalloped edges to the pool. Great photo! (even if it's not an action shot ;^) ) -Kim Seattle Daily Photo

Oh, I do love those sculptures! They better leave them in the mall - I just might organize a protest. Ok, so I won't, but I'd be sad. ;-)
