Humane Society & SPCA

Overlooked by USD (University of San Diego), the Humane Society & SPCA teamed up and built a really beautiful complex that includes a pet products store, classes, and even an outdoor coffee shop. Pets are welcomed and are, in fact, encouraged. The idea is to give owners opportunities to socialize their four legged companions, which will hopefully in turn, reduce the number of pets relinquished to them.

This whimsical sculpture sits in the middle of the complex, inviting visitors to come, relax & "hang out". Click for more info on the Humane Society & SPCA.

this is lovely. Here in France the refuges never seem to have enough money so good to know this one can afford a beautiful complex for the abandoned dogs and cats. And bunny rabbits I see.

Lovely photo Felicia.

Hi there. I haven't been there in years and remember there being a little farm area. It's nice to know that they've added all these great things. Jilly, actually Alexandra took this photo and also showed a photo of her dog last month.
