Dream
Today is the Martin Luther King, Jr holiday. San Diegans can remember the leader everyday as they walk down the Martin Luther King, Jr Promenade along Harbor Drive. This sculpture on the promenade is called "Tribute to Martin Luther King" by Roberto Salas and consists of 5 bronze hands spelling out the word "dream" in American Sign Language.
