Winter beach
I heard the weather forecast and it might actually reach 70 degrees F this week. The sand has been freshly raked and the lounge chairs await you. This stretch of beach is part of the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. I didn't realize that it was private property until I saw a sign further down the beach. Ooops!

Hee-hee, I ignore signs saying PRIVATE BEACH on principle.
La Jolla itself has a reputation for exclusivity so I'm not surprised that the area is private. 70 degrees F sounds super to me. I like the spot of red-orange on the umbrella.
Great colors. I would much rather be lounging there than sitting here at work!
I'm not sure if we have any private beaches at all in the UK.

Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog. I will have to post a Winter Beach photo but there won't be any deck chairs or even sand in the photo (unless someone decides to dig thru the snow).
Nice shot! It's actually illegal here in SD to have private beaches. There's some sort of strange technicality to the LJ private area. I think you are free to walk be there, but the beach farther away from the water is private property and the lawn chairs are def. off limits.
