Let them eat...
My friend June described to me how to make a buche de noel and the accompanying meringue mushrooms with chocolate dusted on top that she makes. Oh how I wish I had the time to experiment making a yule log! The next best thing would be to buy one from the French Gourmet. When I got there I was even more dazzled by their doll house sized gingerbread house. The cookies weren't bad either...nibble, nibble.

That gingerbread house is gorgeous! I wonder if it tastes as good as it looks. :)
Oh my, that looks good!
Sitting around with family making that is such a romantic image.
Thanks!

Love the photos of your holiday baking. Our campus shuts down next week so I'll be taking a shot at some holiday baking too. Thanks for visiting West Sacramento. Cheers and Happy Holidays to you from Barbara.
That would be a sin of some kind to eat.
For us old folks, it is a weary time of year. So as it winds down may I wish you and your family a very happy and healthy holiday and a prosperous new year.

Yum.
Felicia, your ideas about a beer can cozy or coasters were great ideas for knitting for men. But I think one of my men would love a gingerbread house. See how you give me great ideas today!
Very tempting!

How attractive! And much too pretty to eat!
What a lovely gingerbread house! I would like to look at it rather than for dessert! Very festive creation. Wishing you happy holidays, Felicia.
Gorgeous photos of gorgeous food!
Oops, I see you've already seen the Christmas Ships Parade photos--thanks!
