Blazin' bolt
The holiday season brings out the best and the worst, the most obsessive, and over the top displays and gestures. This light display has a little bit of everything: a Charger football helmet, little critters with nose & eyes, a deer drinking from a well with running water, and a 30 foot palm tree with a swinging stuffed animal monkey that does flips. ...And that is just what I saw at a glance.
Relative ostentatiousness of Christmas displays must governed by cultural differences IMO . . . I was always used to rolling my eyes at these over-the-top displays when I lived in SoCal, but here in Iowa I haven't seen a single one all winter. I think SoCal people are less reserved than Iowans in general, and this is one symptom of that.

Neat holiday display. Great shot.
Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.
We drive by this house every day - we look forward to this display every year!
