Theme Day - The Color Blue

Keep it clean, please! The trash cans out on Coronado beach are a cheery blue to match the ocean. Aren't they lovely?

There are plenty of other people playing blue out there. Go check 'em out!:

They don't look like a rubbish bin to me. I thought they are something else! ;) The beach looks very clean and sandy!

Yes, the fires are all done -- perhaps to re-start at the weekend, when the hot winds are due to blow out of the desert again. For household waste, blue bins are for recyclables here too. For a long time we were asked to do strict separation -- paper here, glass here, etc. I guess we weren't good enough because now it's "Here -- have a blue bin, chuck everything recyclable in there and we'll sort it out".

...and you picked on my port-a-potty ;-)

I misread your description as "cherry blue" and spent a long minute trying to figure out which cherries come in shade of blue...
(still, I refuse to wear glasses!)

They look to nice for garbage. Pleasing to see and a good idea to keep the beaches clean.

There are quite a few on that beach, and perhaps thats the reason why it is so clean! Glad that most of the fires are under control. The lives of the home owners who lost their house is far from being under control, tho!
