Horton Plaza fountain
The looks of this fountain and plaza haven't changed much in almost 100 years. The fountain was designed by Irving J. Gill, a famous San Diego architect, and it was one of the first in the US to use electrical color light effects. Click here to see a photo from 1910 when the US Grant Hotel (across the street) and the fountain opened.
