Woodie

I've been trying to get a photo of this bus for awhile now. It shows a picture of a station wagon called a Woodie that was popular with surfers in the 1960s. Cute ad campaign, don't you think?

Buses certainly have changed their paint jobs over the years. They are so good they almost are visual illusions, aren't they? This one is wonderful; great find!

Congratulations, you were able to
"catch" this bus, and I was able to view it. Very nice indeed.

What a great idea this is! I'm so glad you were able to finally get a photo of it. What's the bus advertising? I cannot tell even when I enlarged the photo. Oh, I love the travel stickers in the windows of the woodie!

The picture is great, and the bus is amazing! I remember seeing this kind of station wagons long time ago. I believe that if woodies were popular in the 60s, they were actually born much earlier. Like oldies...

Such a cute bus. At first I didn't notice that it was a bus. I thought there was some kind of motion blur and that it was actually a station wagon. Cool!

Have a great day!

Thanks everyone! The advertising campaign is for the "Breeze" which is another bus system in the north part of San Diego.
