Hot diggity dog!
Wienerschnitzel is a California fast-food chain that focuses on hot dogs - beef, turkey, chili, corn, regular, kraut, pastrami, and chili cheese dogs. This is a funny chain - from its incorrect name, to the architecture, to their slogans (America's Most Wanted Hot Dog or Everybody loves a wiener or The world's largest wieners!), to their sponsorship of a national dachshund race called the Wiener Nationals. The finals for the hot dog race take place at the Holiday Bowl right here in San Diego.

I've never eaten there. Do you like the food?
I go there for the soft serve ice cream. I don't think my stomach could handle the food, although it is probably as good as any other fast-food hot dog stand.
I have eaten at Weinerschnitzel, and it wasn't super :) I am not a huge hot dog fan, but after we came back from Chicaco once we were totally craving a Chicago dog and they had one advertized. NOT THE SAME. It was a fun place and the people were nice, though.
