Catch the wave!
Some of the neighborhoods here have a sign indicating the community. They range from fanciful creations like this one, to neon signs (here's one), to simple wooden signs. Locals call it "PB" and it is a popular destination for locals, tourists, and swingin' singles.

I spent many vacations on PB with my family - I don't remember the sign, though, but it looks like it's from the 70s
i think the sign was installed around 1999, or thereabouts? i like the little crab grabbing the fish's tail. ouch! btw, how did you get this picture? it's a busy street right there!
Chandlermom, lucky you! PB is a happening summer vacation spot - lots to do for parents & kids. I don't know much about the sign, Brent might be right about the date. Brent, this is a busy street and with no place to really pull over...I took it while driving.
