Abandoned Vehicle
I wonder what the story is here - this was taken a couple of days after the fire had gone through. This was one of the main roads evacuees took to get out of Ramona - how did the driver get stuck and have to leave his vehicle behind? What did he do with his horses? What happened here?!

Wow! I wonder that too. Maybe they rode the horses out of there. It awlful about the fires. Hope they can stop them.
I certainly hope that both humans and beasts made it out alive. Just saw a piece on a couple who spent 3 hours in their swimming pool while their home burned around them.

Oh I sure hope they all made it out alive and unhurt. It's just so tragic both for the animals and the people who have been affected by this fire.
I still cannot understand how someone can just light a fire and stand by and watch as it destroys thousands of lives.
@kate: I cannot even imagine how scary & heartwrenching that must have been.
