SDSU

San Diego State University was recently named the #1 small research university in the US. They've come a long way since being listed as one of the top party schools. This is a photo of the student center that I took when school was out for the summer - now that classes have started, I never would have found a parking place! Here is another photo from last summer.
PS: SDSU is the oldest of the 3 university campuses in San Diego, established in 1897. There are currently about 34,500 students.

Also loved your duckling crossing sign, I had one of those close to my home in Australia.

And really enjoyed your reminder of the wonderful song, Sitting on the dock of the bay...

Thanks Expat, yup, you can't forget about the girls...funny thing is that I think your first comment on this blog declared the great looking women at State. I guess things haven't changed!
Thanks for stopping by Nathalie - hope Avignon is treating you well!

SDSU sounds like a uni rich in history and tradition - we also have probs with parking once school starts so I just bike - its so much easier and faster! Which Uni of the three do you like best?

Hi Brent, yes the trolley station at SDSU is so shiny and new. I think I posted a photo of it in July 2006 around when it first opened. So great that it is steps from the Open Air Theatre. Hi Kala, I wish I could bike to work! I won't say which I like best...I work for one of them!
