Running the bases
We went to the Padres game this afternoon. They have $5.00 tickets called the Park Pass and when you have little kids that like to run, it's hard to actually watch the game! Here's a small field within the stadium where kids can take a swing at bat and run the bases.

I remember when my babies were about that age. One of their clueless team mates was on third. The batter hit the ball and all the moms and dads yelled to the third base runner to "run home." He ran straight for the fence, out the gate and headed down the sidewalk... It took a few seconds before everyone in the stands fell out laughing..

such a great idea, but wasn't the "park at the park" supposed to be bigger? trying to remember....
