Sweet tooth
Bertrand at Mr. A's is a fancy restaurant on the 12th floor of an office building that has panoramic views of downtown and the San Diego harbor. My birthday was last month, but I went there a few weeks ago for lunch as an extended birthday celebration. The older I get the more I think you've got to milk your birthday for all it's worth! ;-) It is hard for me to resist dessert when crème brûlée is on the menu and I couldn't wait to take a bite before I took the photo! What is your dessert of choice?

LOL! You sound like me - sweet tooth and all...
Happy belated Birthday!
And to answer your question: anything with chocolate, any form of cheesecake, any french pastry, any german strudel, any italian gelato...You get the idea ;-)
Traditional NY cheesecake. And this picture is better for showing the rich cream below your first spoonful.
Poire Belle Helene for me (fresh pear, vanilla ice cream, choc sauce). But it's hardly ever on offer. In pear season I make it myself and usually leave out the ice cream. Whole Food sells a perfect choccy sauce for the purpose.
that looks so good. i haven't been there in the longest time. i have to go now. my favorite dessert would have to be cheesecake. now im hungry. haha.
Now you are talking! Creme brulee - ah! And a Happy Birthday to you.
I am not much of a one for desserts - mainly because I've normally eaten too much pasta by then. However I do like tarte tatin, creme brulee, of course and creme caramels - and any sort of fruit.
I went to that restaurant with friends for a celebration at dusk. What a terrific view. I only wish I hadn't shown my humble origins by using all the salad dressing in the urn (it looked like a single serving) and then coughing after inhaling so much garlic.
you never fail in making me hungry when ever i visit your blog - everything in this photo looks so delicious - even the plate! nice composition.
