Rosecroft

Rosecroft was one of the stops on the garden tour organized by the San Diego Floral Association. This is the pool at Rosecroft, Alfred D. Robinson's home built in 1912. Robinson suggested and encouraged the creation of the Botanical Building in Balboa Park for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition and was also one of the founders of the San Diego Floral Association. Click here to see an old photo at Rosecroft which includes Robinson as well as Kate O. Sessions known as the "Mother of Balboa Park".
