Coming together

This 38 foot sculpture is called Coming Together by Niki de St Phalle and greets visitors on the promenade near our Convention Center. It was completed in 2001. The building behind it is the backside of our baseball stadium Petco Park which was completed in 2004. The sculpture's name seems to represent the area well in that over the years the area has developed and shaped up to become a very nice place to walk and enjoy the city's attractions.
