All the world's a stage...

There are many, many unique and special things to be found in Balboa Park. This sculpture, located next to the Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park, is but one of them.

Hidden in the bushes, many might miss it, so I had to make sure it wasn't overlooked. :)

Is the Globe connected to the one in London?

Yes, it's a replica of the London one. Beyond that, I don't know - anyone else?

This is the London one:

There are no "artistic" connections as far as I know. They have completely independent management and dramaturgy.

When you're next in London, don't miss the experience!!

Hi Alex, I was in the sculpture garden on Saturday and I totally missed that one! Thanks for capturing it. "Mid summer nights dream" is "my" Shakespeare play - I've seen it more than 5 times and not very intentionally. How about you, what is "your" Shakespeare play?

Nice photo. Hard to capture the details but you did a good job on this one.

I am back from my self-imposed vacation.

Hamlet and Measure for Measure are two of my faves -- and both on the schedule for this summer. I'll be there!!
