Thai Time
We ended up at Thai Time restaurant in El Cajon last night because when we drove up to one of our favorite sushi places they had gone out of business. Here we got this appetizer with fish patties, spring rolls, satay chicken, and wonton wrapped shrimp for $8.95. This was our first time at Thai Time and one of the best things was the service. (Really good curry too.) Of course, my first preference is a great meal with great service, but I would rather have a good meal with great service versus a great meal with bad service. What is more important to you?

Looks like a wonderful food beginning for the Memorial Day week-end. Great photo. Food is always first preference. Of course, good service is what also keeps patrons returning, but food is supreme, especially ethnic food.
Even the recipe was standard one (fried Up) but food always look tempting...I prefer good food with good service

Very hard to say. The food comes first, but I can't put up with ignorant waiters or extremely slow kitchens (unless accompanied by profuse apologies and oenological compensation!). I don't need advice on wine or on what-goes-with-what, not *that* kind of service.
We were at Kous-kous bistro again last night, and were treated EXTREMELY well.
this is something i would order!
meal vs. service? well, if i'M going to a street vendor, all i need is good food. When paying for service charge, i'd expect the servive to be up to par
LOL! ur post always makes me smile - and makes me salivate - I prefer tahi over sushi and I prefer a great meal with great service over a great meal with bad service but I ultimately love great meal with great company!
