San Diego scenes - electrical box #9
Across from Balboa Park sits this special painted electrical box that features San Diego landmarks. Facing us is Balboa Park and to the side is Mission San Diego de Alcalá. The other sides feature the Hotel Del Coronado and the downtown skyline. Click here to see the other 8 painted electrical boxes shown previously.

Thanks for posting the link for the other boxes. I like them all, but am partial to this one as well as the floral.
It's a refreshing concept, why can't we all do that in our cities?

:-)
This is about the nicest electrical box picture I have seen so far.
I didn't do much today but...
I did write about how people used to wear long underwear over winter or until we began to stink. You can find the link at the bottom of the post today.

Whoa, that's an elaborate job on the box. I have not ever seen that before. Thanks for visiting the SA DP!
That's fabulous! It's much more pleasing than your standard, boring gray metal box.
San Antonio has something similar, there's these posts along the upper part of the RiverWalk along Houston Street I think. There's four of them I think, and each of them features different scenes from the different Missions in San Antonio.
gosh, what a master piece!
we can thank candice lopéz for a lot of these beautiful boxes. (maybe not this one though).
