Theme Day - the color red

For most people, UCSD is simply a great local university. For me, it was where I spent much of my youth. My mom was a grad student there when I was little, so I have many warm memories of our times spent there (I thought it was a great big playground!). Much of my happy memories surround the great sculptures you can find hidden all over campus. Red Shoe is but one of them - easy to find, but many would probably never see. Read up on this sculpture here. One more shot here.
