Garden Statue
This statue sits in a front garden at Mission de San Diego de Alcala. This mission is California's first. Each of California's missions were located a day's horseback ride from each other, starting here in San Diego. This is just one of many beautiful spots on the Mission's grounds. Oh that is beautiful....more cool mosaic/tile work! I hadn't noticed her when I visited. Her eyes look look so hopeful and sad.
