Secret Beach

One of San Diego's best-kept secrets is Kellogg Beach. Even most locals don't know about it. This small beach is never crowded. Add that to its lack of waves and its perfect for those with small children. This photo was taken in the middle of spring break!
Where is it located? Hmm...I don't remember... ;-)

Yay Alex - I'm so happy to have a contributor and am looking forward to your Thursday posts! This is a wonderful place especially for those of us that don't like the crowds. I think I'll try to go there this summer when everyone else is at Pacific Beach/Mission Bay.

Actually, Kellogg Beach consistently rates as the best water quality in San Diego...at least last time I checked! :)

funny - I always wonder whether its good to post "secret' beaches and so when I read your post that you did not reveal the beach, I though "niceeeeee" I would not want it reveal so it can keep its prestine state!
