Get your meat here!

Stu sent me running, not walking, to Siesel's Meats (their mother store is Iowa Meat Farms) to buy their barrel cured corned beef in order to cook up the traditional St Patrick's Day meal (corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes). Like their website says, they are San Diego's meat specialists. I have some great memories of a roast lamb and a bbq'd duck that came from Iowa Meat Farms. And where else would you buy veal in San Diego?

I turned the comment button off by mistake, so please do tell me all about the great corned beef you have had before or any other memorable meal that makes you salivate just from thinking about it!

I need to add this for St. Patrick's Day:
An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Hi Kate, thanks for your blessing. Stu, it was heavenly and the only bad part was that after our dinner party there wasn't more leftovers!
